The occupants reported several strange occurrences such as knocking sounds, falling objects, a shadowy figure, and a pet which was too afraid to enter the master bedroom and kept staring in a particular corner of this room. The current occupants do not mind these occurrences but where very curious to find out what was really happening on this property.

An investigation by members of the League of Paranormal Investigators (LPI) concluded that the house had a large amount of paranormal activity but not enough to declare it haunted. More can be read in the investigation tab of this case.

Historical Timeline

1940's - House Constructed

House was build in the 1940s.

August 2004 - Current Residents

Clients moved into the house and reported several paranormal occurrences during the following years. A series of paranormal activities was reported by the current residents: knocking sounds at various places throughout the house; an apparition of a black child in the guest room; a black, shadowy figure of a huge man throughout the house; the house pet is freaking out and looking scared at the corner in the master bedroom; many more smaller activities are reported.

In 2008 there is definitely an increase of activity and The League of Paranormal Investigators is called to investigate the property.

Our findings are mainly based on the scientific evidence and we did not find enough evidence to declare the property haunted. We did collect a large amount of paranormal activity as indicated below. Our conclusion is based on the following category of findings as collected before and during the investigation:

Photography: From the photos taken throughout the house during the investigation, 21% contained orbs, vortexes and/or other types of anomalies.

Video/Infra Red Video: The Infrared cameras recorded several orbs, most of which were located in the guest room and the living room. We also recorded an unexplained set of small lights appearing on top of the bed for a second while two of our investigators were in the room.

Voice Recording: We were able to document responses to some questions in the form of knocking sounds while doing EVP research in the guest bedroom. We verified that the sounds didn’t come from any of our investigators moving throughout the house.

Psychic Impressions: One of our investigators made contact in the master bedroom through the use of a pendulum with a spirit guide for the client. In the living room she made contact with a male spirit that previously lived in the house but did not die there that was interested in the current residents. During the EVP experiment with music, one of our investigators felt a female presence. This presence evoked strong emotions of timid sadness, fear and anger at the song.
There was a psychic impression of a total of 5 entities, only one of which was determined to be human and related to the property but no attachment was established.

Personal Experiences: Several investigators reported the feeling of being watched while in various parts of the house. Two investigators reported seeing a dark apparition in the guest bedroom and two investigators reported a sudden cold draft in the living room. These experiences help validate some of the claims reported by the client.

During an investigation of a residence in Coconut Grove, unexplained noises were reported in the guest room. The knocking in the audio was captured by investigator Robert who was asking questions with Team Lead Bandora who made additional suggestion.

The client reported increased activity when a certain song was played. During the investigation we played this song and remained very still, Robert recorded the now louder knocking sounds almost instantly.
