The Karl Wallenda house stands on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood in Sarasota.
It is only two blocks away from the Gulf of Mexico and walking distance from an area with restaurants and businesses.
Once the home of the famous Karl Wallenda but now it is a house rented out to a number of tenants.
The street where you can find this house is a mixture of historical looking old homes and modern houses.
With the abundance of trees in this street it all fits perfectly together and gives you the feeling of going back in time.
The current owner bought the Karl Wallenda house from Helen Wallenda, the surviving spouse of the great Karl Wallenda.
Karl died in 1978 during a freak accident while performing his trade mark, walking on a high wire act.
The house is a great historical landmark with some weird energy and mystery surrounding it.
According to the landlord it seems to attract “weird” tenants and many where “asked” to leave.
One of those tenants was John Lee Bean who got arrested after a shootout with the police in 1998 on a quiet Sunday morning.
The first contact started with a friend of one of the tenants in Coconut Grove while Ed and Atena where getting ready for their yearly trip to Fantasy Fest in Key West.
A couple of weeks later the League of Paranormal Investigators drove down to Sarasota to perform an investigation in October of 2008.
One of the residents left us a friendly testimonial.
